May 26th: LOAM, Gemma Baker, Ichabod & Matt McAteer

Following April’s fantastic event featuring the very ace Lippy Kid, Sophie Sparham, Kworyl & Gutz 4 Garterz, and Ichabod, we return to Chesterfield Labour Club with another stellar line up.

Two thirds of Blind Saints, who blew the roof off earlier in the year, return with a different name, sound and line up

LOAM is three, falling on familiar ears at times with an aim to move forward and outward. It is less important where they are from, than where they wish to go.

Poetry this month comes from Gemma Baker. Born in Grimsby, now residing in Lincoln, Gemma writes about life as she knows it, with all it’s weird and wonderful challenges. She organises 3 poetry events in Lincoln, has published 2 collections of poetry, and has featured in several anthologies.

Completing the line up is the resident genius of Chesterfield Labour Club, so expect another masterclass in songwriting and witty asides from the very wonderful Ichabod.

All this, plus cheap bar prices and cheerful bar staff for the paltry sum of £5 entry on the door. See you there
